Good point, Giacciarini has previously highlighted the much higher wages in the PL than in Italy. he's certainly on a good wack at Liverpool, so presumably he'll want a payoff from them if our offer isn't matching his current or anticipated level. But it's unlikely his reputation would get him an equivalent deal in Italy.
