I guess they don't need to say "no", they can just ignore the offer.

I doubt for a second that Borini would just ignore the offer when all he had to do is say no.

You're just choosing to see the negative.

What do you not understand.
Sunderland and Liverpool agree fee and payment structure.
Liverpool give Boroni permission to speak with Sunderland AFC.

Boroni says.
Fk that why would I want to sign for Sunderland. Unless there are acceptable offers from other clubs I am staying at Liverpool.

HE DOES NOT WANT TO COME TO SUNDERLAND
So we need to move on.

The bit in bold is fact. The rest is fiction.

Im not, no.
Im just being realistic. If he wanted to be here, he wouldn't be on Liverpools preseason tour to the States.
He doesn't have to say anything to us at all, he's under contract with another employer.

As you've just pointed out, he's under contract with another employer so he's not necessarily in a position to refuse to fly to America. You're guessing like everyone else.

Of course Im guessing. Im very confident with my guess however. The only person who knows is Fabio Borini. I bet he's not at Liverpool next season. I bet he's not here either.

Obviously doesn't fancy the move here permanent by the looks of things, set a deadline & if it passes, we move on.

Strange one though, you'd have thought he'd have been sounded out prior to the bid going in mind !

Proof?

Even if the reports are right that he is reluctant to come I still wouldn't have him here. I'm surprised people would still want him to come here even if he has turned us down. You can't really want a player that has been forced here and thrown £14M away. If the reports are not true then fair enough but looking at it as it stands he doesn't want to come.

How many times?

This is typical Rodgers behaviour, he took Carroll to America when West Ham had bid. He may not sign and if Borini was so intent on not signing do you not think Liverpool would have announced something by now?

The fletcher transfer took an age, and i expect the borini one to aswell, but i think we will know either way by the time liverpool get back from the US.

Has Remy travelled to the US with liverpool ?

Looking at the bigger picture I'd find it very odd given that we'd go to the trouble of agreeing a structure of payment for a player who doesn't want to come here.

I know there's rules about tapping other clubs players up but surely there are enough people at the club who have his phone number just to give him a quick tinkle and say, 'Hew Fabio lad, would ya fancy coming back if the terms are reet?'

Would save an awful lot of cufuffle.
