Booing the team off

If you pay your money, you can say what you want. Everyone else can shut up.

Wrong attitude. Like saying if you breathe oxygen then you can talk all sorts of shite and nobody should be able to pull you up on it.

We should be saying: get behind Sunderland, who knows where it will take us, more chance of it taking us somewhere than the massive nipples 'booing like an angry cow' (in their words).

Bloke who sits infront of me never had a good word to say. Always moaning and complaining. When we went 2-1 up instead of getting behind the lads he was screaming about why we weren’t putting effort in beforehand.

Makes me think surely you can’t be a supporter if that’s the way you go on

Some people thrive on negativity- there’s certainly a good few on here

The body language of the players at the final whistle was evident. They knew they should have won and were gutted not to have won. Several were slumped on the pitch as if they had lost an FA Cup Final.

Booing them at the final whistle would not have helped in any way at all. I suppose those fans that did boo hadn't taken the opportunity to (or just couldn't) think that through.

I genuinely reckon you can count on one hand the amount of players in the history of the game that have went "Aye they're booing best up my game next time out". In that sense I think it's pretty pointless, but I also doubt the players are that arsed either, they'll know it's a huge opportunity missed.

I was more bothered at the thousands of early leavers/those that left as soon as the equaliser went in. Nowt like the fans just giving up.
