Booing the team off

Happened again after Hull match. Not once have I ever boo'ed my own team (or player). I honestly don't know how that qualifies as being a 'supporter'.

There was also sarcastic cheers after Patto caught a ball just after the Hull goal.
I didn't boo, but I never stood and clapped them off, cos the effort was lacking.

I do agree with have a negative fanbase, me included but personally I think this has been because we've had to sit through some of the worst shite that can ever be served up to a club of our size short of going bust.

I understand that, but can't we leave that negativity in the past? We've been challenging at the top all season and gone unbeaten at home until now. I think the lads deserve to be at least clapped off for that achievement. Instead they got early leavers, boos, and a few clappers at the end. That is pathetic from our fanbase if you ask me.

I also don't think the effort was lacking at all. We weren't totally on it, but we had the ball the entire 2nd half really. On another day, Wilson's header goes in, so does Mayenda's shot, and it's all happy days.

Sarcastically cheering your own player is worse than booing at full time. Absolutely pathetic that.

Somebody in the concourse shouted 'f**k off you black and white twat' when rigg miscontrolled a ball out of play.

Loads of arseholes there today

I usually stay on the south and clap them all off while the steps clear . On yesterday's display was all i could do not to tell them all to fuck off so i just got in the queue.

Left on 87, could see we could play til 187 and not score, so got to the bar before the crowds, never booed the shirt ever, and never will.

No point booing today. Plymouth game summed up where we are as a team and it's not in the automatics. Yesterday was so obvious after they scored

Probably the 1st game he’d been to all season

Never booed a side off. If I didn't boo at the end of the Mk Dons match or Lincoln match in 2022 I wasnt going to start doing it yesterday.
The lads weren't at the races yesterday but isn't wasn't for last off trying. How's booing going to make them better.

All my working life I was criticised when things went badly, happened a lot. I was also praised when things went well, didn’t happen quite as often. I believe the criticism drove me more than praise. I had the attitude of ‘l’ll show ‘em’. Players need to adopt that attitude and not go away and sulk.

I fully agree it’s an arsehole trick but coming up on a decade out of the top flight and I think people are getting less and less patient and more agitated as time goes on.

We stayed til end , and just left to go pub , didn’t boo but certainly wouldn’t stand there clapping after a performance like that, they get a clap when merit one, yesterday was shite
This, I made my way down to the front on 87 and got myself a seat ready for an exit dead on the whistle. No way I was going to be clapping them off

When the board showed 6 minutes I laughed and walked out. Should have been 10-12 minutes. Not that it would have mattered because we wouldn't have scored if it had went on another hour and they probably wasted most of that 6 minutes anyway?

Clubs treat fans like customers now, it's no suprise people are then more vocal when they are displeased. Rightly or wrongly

Don't go then. Pretty simple. If you've lost patience and have zero interest in supporting the team or coming up with shite oooh woe is me excuses like you have then don't go.
