The longer they let this go on the more messy it's going to get to address the issue of how they deal with results !It’s tragic, but them and Bury should be thrown out of the league, it’s a total farce
Would they be that much stronger? Not long to sign players and the ones on strike are hardly world beaters are they?Makes you wonder what would happen if the takeover goes through at some point. Some teams will have had an advantage of playing the weaker team earlier in the season.
Why? Rules are in place to cover any such eventualityThe longer they let this go on the more messy it's going to get to address the issue of how they deal with results !
So the results gone stand ?Why? Rules are in place to cover any such eventuality
Nope and whose going to sign for a club that’s not paying its players and is a cert for relegation?Would they be that much stronger? Not long to sign players and the ones on strike are hardly world beaters are they?
No, rules state if a side goes out of business during season all their results upto that point are expungedSo the results gone stand ?
There has to be another reason behind that, i bet them young lads are not complaining one bit about playing league one footy now
Im not sure i agree but can understand where you are coming from. From what i gather they are mostly 18/19 year olds. Half of tgem will probably fade out the game if they never had this chance, so its great for them to have it on their cvYeah, I'm sure they do, but it doesn't mean they should play. Most sports have restrictions such as this for the players' own welfare and long-term career development, e.g. under 19 fast bowlers in cricket aren't permitted to bowl more than 7 (?) overs per spell. I dunno what the restrictions are in football for the specifics of this but I do know that players aren't allowed to represent teams more than two years below their age range for this specific reason: there are obviously problems involved with a team of kids playing against senior players who are physically developed. If it was me I'd be f***ing delighted to be playing obviously, but this would be two games in four days for them and you can completely understand why medical teams would raise objections to this.
Controversial I know, but I'm finding it hard to have any sympathy for them. They're simply not fit for purpose. It might only be the third division but, it's a professional league at the end of the day.
Almost certain to get another 8 points deducted as well.
