In the main they were cheesy as fuck. Girls and boys, country house, parklife etc. Lifting.

Like I said must've been the other bloke as Albarns other stuff is superb.

Just naming the obvious... Beatlebum is a belting tune, and a few off the last album too. Just found most of their stuff back in the day to be shite.

This looks staged. Fake AF. They're pals really. The britpop rivalry was probably staged too to make both bands more money

Like a lot of bands....Blur's earlier work was marginally better than the later stuff. They went naff around the parklife album. I think was the third album about 94ish same time as oasis' def maybe.....

Stuff off the first and second album I can just about tolerate

Anyhow I'm not sure either band has aged well

I like Oasis, had some good tunes and decent albums but Blur as a band were light years ahead of them.

I was impressed with gorillaz at Glastonbury, although I only watched on telly, probably about 3 or 4 years ago. Shaun William Ryder and ‘Roseh’ were class on ‘dare’.

I haven’t got a hatred of Oasis, they’re just an easy target, like the goons who actually liked them. ‘Definitely Maybe’ is very run of the mill to be fair. 90% of it is recycled riffs/melodies from other groups’ music, indie for school kids and housewives to do the ironing to. Me and my mates still laugh about the time they were out and you’d get all the dweebs and geeks suddenly dressing like them and pretending to be ‘lads’.
