Theres a place down Darlington called Sorte which is greatI love a charcuterie board like,
Bread, ham, cheese and a beer/wine/port
I wish more bars just did stuff like this, doesn't have to be deli, I am a man of simple pleasures

TRAMpsWhats it gonna be called do you know?
Yorkshire Tapas. Wish more places did that. There was a bar in Leeds that did 'bread and cheese' or 'pie' and I'm sure it was only a quid but it was a lump of decent cheese with some quality bread or a decent pork pie.
Nice and simple snack that went lovely with a pint.
Actually just been reading about a place in Keswick that gives you a tiny pork pie with a specific beer.Yorkshire Tapas. Wish more places did that.
Scaffolding now up. It's happening.
It’s great, just a shame it’s taken f***ing years for anyone to do owt with the place.Happy days, sea front is getting better and better. Hopefully they develop more
Probably to do with the daft old detractors who occupy parts of the area. "The residents have spoken" when all of 1000 people rejected the Tram Shelter idea. It’s great, just a shame it’s taken f***ing years for anyone to do owt with the place.
Actually forgot about that. Too much going on. Can't keep up.Planning application in for the redevelopment of the shelter next to Grannie Annie’s as well. Think it’s due to be heard March?

I’m surprised the ‘Save Seaburn’ lot aren’t standing outside there with placards shouting ‘down with this sort of thing’Probably to do with the daft old detractors who occupy parts of the area. "The residents have spoken" when all of 1000 people rejected the Tram Shelter idea.
Hoping to have it open by NovemberPlanning application in for the redevelopment of the shelter next to Grannie Annie’s as well. Think it’s due to be heard March?
What's the planning application for? Bar? Restaurant?Hoping to have it open by November
Vaux brewery thing. What's the planning application for? Bar? Restaurant?
I had assumed that had fallen through or something as nothing has been happening there for months and I'm sure a To Let sign went back up.Fit out of the gin bar (ton of sardines) should hopefully be starting soon if it hasn’t already.
What is the intention for that one?Planning application in for the redevelopment of the shelter next to Grannie Annie’s as well. Think it’s due to be heard March?

Stinks of piss in there. And I always shit myself when my girls run in that there'll be some junkie in there or something.
Whoops thought that one was the gin bar. Going to be some night out down Roker mind.As per Avacado’s post the new Vaux brewery are setting up a new bar / tap room I believe.
As for tin of sardines no idea what’s happening with it, just hoped it would be opening fairly soon as fitout shouldn’t take all that long?

Aye dunno about the gin bar mind it seems like nothing has been happening for ages. Hopefully all good to go soon. Would think they would want to be open for Spring.
