Probably to do with the daft old detractors who occupy parts of the area. "The residents have spoken" when all of 1000 people rejected the Tram Shelter idea.

Oh I forgot the only thing they were trying to save was their view the selfish tory bastards.
I love it when everything they now try to stop out of spite goes ahead, it’s beyond chos. Seaburn is the best it’s been in my lifetime despite their best efforts to derail the developments.

I had assumed that had fallen through or something as nothing has been happening there for months and I'm sure a To Let sign went back up.

As per Avacado’s post the new Vaux brewery are setting up a new bar / tap room I believe.

As for tin of sardines no idea what’s happening with it, just hoped it would be opening fairly soon as fitout shouldn’t take all that long?

Whoops thought that one was the gin bar. Going to be some night out down Roker mind.

Aye dunno about the gin bar mind it seems like nothing has been happening for ages. Hopefully all good to go soon. Would think they would want to be open for Spring.
