A Spanish Sports journalist and fan of Athletic Bilbao, Hadi Anani, has written a large piece on the Bilbao Black Cats and the links between Sunderland and Athletic Club Bilbao which will be released in the next few weeks in a well known Spanish football magazine.

I won't post the link as I think that's what the thread got deleted for but if you look for Bilbao Black Cats on twitter, you'll see the post with the linked awards poll.

Nice …not too sure about the collar but it is still better than this seasons. I really liked the 20/21 season shirt where the stripes are also on the sleeves…class

This seasons is €90 I think. Shirts here are quite expensive
An article about us is being released in Spanish football magazine Panenka either this week or next.

In it we talk about the links between Sunderland and Bilbao and the two football clubs.

Everyone says the red and white of Athletic comes from Southampton but we've uncovered evidence which suggests otherwise and hope that the article will bring about some new discussions about the origins.

If anyone should find themself in the Basque Country next weekend, We're having a meetup in Vitoria-Gasteiz for the Reading game on 11th February.

The one after that will be on the 4th March for the Stoke City game.
