One was mouthing off about 5-1 and how it will never be beaten, I said that we won 9-1 and his reply was " Our players went on strike that day and the club had to get people off the street to play, look at the history books, it is in there!"

It doesn't look like they took them of the streets, it looks like they took them out the graves. No one alive wants to be seen in a mag shirt.
 
I have a feeling that the scum were top of the first division at the time too...although I am not 100% certain..just rings a bell somewhere, as for being "on strike"...yeah right, footballers were forever going on strike! :lol:

The win of 9-1 or the final league placing at the end of the season?

But thats where your arguement falls down, every mag I know has attended more games than they really have. I'm sure the players do the same.
