What's the best fish and chips you've had? Can be from anywhere, chippy obvious choice, restaraunt or even home made.

Had a absolutely unreal one the other day from The Hut in Silky, might not of been best ever but was certainly amongst the elite.

Nice crispy batter, plenty of fish inside, loads of chips, loads of salt & vinegar and batter, massive portion. Tremendous.

Few years back it was surprisingly warm in November. We'd been to the lights and bought fish and chips from Downeys. Had the dogs with us so we couldn't go inside. Sat in the garden bit on the seafront and ate them while watching the waves catching the moonlight. It was lovely 😎

Most portions are far too big now. Would rather have a smaller portion for £4. Have peas and bread and butter and a pickled onion at home.
recently the best was Papas at Cleethorpes. Best all time was Sunleys at Lanchester. 10/10 every time.
