When Tufty was in charge I think a lot of people were confident we'd win next week, maybe too confident.
Its usually been the case that in the build up to the Derby the Mags have written e-mails and spoken shit about knowing what they've needed to do. The likes of Ryder and Douglas have hyped it up and because the fans lap it up they've only succeeded in putting more pressure on the team.
Sunderland have gone about their business quietly.
The appointment of Bouncy will send the papers and the fans into orbit in the week before the Derby, in some respects they will feel they have the momentum back, while I'm sure, as usual Sunderland will go about their business quietly and as they have done the last six times, play the game and not the occasion. I truly can't see the Mags doing that, regardless of a new manager they have still lost #6inarow, it's likely they will still be in the relegation zone and the pressure will be huge, we absolutely need the points too but I really don't think the pressure will be felt half as much by Sunderland players as by Mag players.
