Ben Foakes

Bairstow needs to bide his time.

Team picks itself based upon previous results.

Bairstow hasnt kept wicket for a few years now iirc.

Why are people clamouring for Foakes to be dropped.

Get in the f***ing bin.

Doubt Bairstow will even be fit enough.

Nobody is clamoring for Foakes to be dropped?

However people are trying to have a debate about how Bairstow gets back in the side.

Because make no mistake about it, if fit he is coming back in the side and rightfully soo.

He was of the main reasons for the turnaround in the side.

If fit should be a shoe in

He hasn’t played since he injured himself.

That’s his fault.

Side stays as it is.

You can’t justify dropping any one else.

Crawley
Duckett
Pope
Root
Brook
Stokes
Foakes
Robinson
Leach
Broad
Anderson

Surely you on a wind up if you can’t justify dropping Crawley out of that side???

Why? What’s his record like as an opener?
Exactly. He hasn’t played any game in over 6 months.

He needs to get red ball runs for Yorkshire before he’s even considered for the Test team.

There’s no guarantee he’ll pick up we’re he left of and his career is full of ups and downs

Not that arsed either way but I still think Jennings has something to offer. Up to him to show some good form in the county championship

I wouldn’t be against that given Jennings is an opener.

But the suggestion we should shoe horn Bairstow in as opener is bizarre given he’s never played there and hasn’t played any cricket at all for months.

Don’t think Bairstow should open, and nobody has said that, if fit he should bat exactly where he batted last summer when he won us them tests with superb performances.

He played at 5 didn’t he?

Can’t see them dropping Brook nor should they.

Brook and Bairstow if both fit should both be certainties in the middle order, would rather have Bairstow in the side and push someone else as a opener.

Than play Crawley and leave a match winner like Bairstow out of the side.

This is all assuming Bairstow fully fit, McCullum more or less hinted if fit Bairstow comes back in the side and rightly soo.

Best batsman in an England shirt last summer.

He walks into the team as soon as he's fit. I'm glad I don't have to decide who for like.

Not saying he wasn’t marra.

But Brook has been tremendous and Foakes is better behind the stumps.

You’re looking at either moving Pope to open or Bairstow to open with Duckett.

Can’t see where he’ll fit in.
