Bellingham

I could see someone like Real Madrid buying him but loaning him back to us for another season.

He clearly isn't ready to play at that level yet.

Yeah he isn't. But there's clubs clearly looking as and you say - many would put a few quid down now rather than miss out later.

I know I'm going to set fire to the board with this, but genuinely no idea what he's good at. He's scored a few goals granted, but he jogs seemingly half arsed when we're trying to regain possession, frequently when he gets the ball, stops, turns back and pass it sideways. Doesn't seem to drive forward, doesn't seem able to pick a defence splitting pass, doesn't seem to take anyone on. I've no idea what he's supposed to be. I do wonder if his brother wasn't who he is, would he be starting.

I'd rather give Adil or Rigg a run of games.

Adil should have replaced him on the hour today

Ÿeah, I don't get thr hype!
If his name was Jobe Smith, nobody would be watching him. If he is to go anywhere he has a lot to work on, first of which is spacial awareness, second of which is developing a left foot.

Cue the "He's 18 FFS..." narrative. Blah blah blah. Plenty others much better and younger. Lewis Miley for example.

And I'd hoy Dan Neil in the mix too. Same reasons as above. Becoming jack colback the 2nd that lad. And extremely inconsistent.

Thought neal was OK first half, second half absolutely awful. Tried to force balls instead of keeping it simple. They weren't trying balls he was trying to do. They just kept things simple and with pace. Bellingham was just a rabbit in the headlights and beale should have noticed the game was too big for him. Rigg will have been itching to get on. But no keep judes brother on. He's only a kid yeah, but would you let a kid suffer knowing he's having a stinker?

Clearly needs a rest, looked like he had the worlds largest curry for breakfast, not involved in anything, too slow to even get close enough to foul someone let alone win the ball or create anything

One of the worst individual performances I have seen today but Beale should have recognised this and taken him off.

Under instruction to leave him on, full exposure, nobody will buy him based on todays performance, but could definitely still become a decent player just needs taking out the team for a bit

Could be his coming of age game on Saturday in front of the football world.

Well it wasnt
He was pedestrian and sloppy today

And today
OK I'll bite. :D
Some fans either can't see or refuse to acknowledge the endless running and closing down Jobe does. literally runs himself into the ground. Holds the ball up really well and occupies opposing defenders really well.An integral part of our set up for me. Mowbray and the new coach clearly see what a lot don't .

I missed it again today
