Beat Wolves

To be fair if we do come away with 3 points against Wolves we'd still be in with an outside chance, at the very least it would mean the Man Utd game has something riding on it and the season is prolonged another game.

Europe not likely to happen but still think we can try for top 10, be a shame to just let the season eek out. 2 big teams to come to the SoL still, may as well just try and enjoy the last few games

Yep agreed … but (and I’m struggling with it) we need to remember we’re on 46 points nowhere near relegation and that’s a superb season.
My thought are.. just finish above Leeds. Be the best of the promoted teams.

Depends on what results go our way in the other fixtures. Villa, Liverpool, WHU and Man Utd all need to win

Saying that, we shouldn’t have to rely solely on other teams doing us favours. Absolutely need a response against Wolves because a 0-5 home spanking from a team thats been battling relegation and are on their 4th manager this season is inexcusable.

Though many on here wouldn’t have been around then we have played in Europe ( Cup Winners Cup 4 games 1973/74) or doesn’t that count?
And for any mags we did qualify for that by winning the FA Cup- it wasn’t by invitation on the one city,one club Inter Cities Fairs nonsense

I know you can but sooner or later you will meet teams that are better than you in consecutive games and if you lose 1 you have to beat the next team lose to those and you need to win 3 games off the belt to put that sequence of losses back on track...it dosnt happen ..we havnt won 3 league games off the belt all season ..

Yet are still trending for the region of 51-52 points. Not far at all from 57 and not really sure what your point is
