Its grim like and always seems to come at a time when the door is open for us. Take last week...almost every result went our way.

Progress from what starting point though?

We were a play off winning team, changed the full squad almost and look likely to finish in and around 10th-15th and staying up comfortably which I would say is excellent progress.

Winning one and losing one all season (obviously doesn’t happen like that) would give you 57 points good enough for 9th last season.

Now if we strengthen in the summer and be in the same position we were pre villa and don’t kick on from that point then I would say that wasn’t progress.

It’s frustrating as there was a slight opportunity and the last two games have been tactically and defensively a disaster but we shouldn’t let that cloud the position re the progress we’ve made this last season.

Im not letting last night cloud whats been a brilliant season. I was thinking more in if you want to play in Europe you need to be consistent at this stage of the season Before last night 3 wins might have been enough..it can still be achieved of course but you are now relying on other teams dropping points..I'll be at Wolves next week cheering the lads on hoping for a better performance ...HTL
