Beat Wolves

If you add another 57 points into a full PL season then of course you need more points to finish in a position. You are so stupid its unreal.
I honestly can’t believe I’m having this debate.
If you want to get into 8 last season you have to get more points than them and they had 61. In fact only once in the 4 or 5 seasons would you be 8th with 57 🙄
And it's back on
If we beat wolves it gives us a chance but the forest game was a kick in the bllx.

Your maths is shocking. The parameters to finish in a certain position are as they are because a PL season has a maximum of 1140 points (380 games x 3 points) available. If you add another whole team worth of points to the season then obviously these parameters go up. To finish 8th, the 8th place team only needed 57 points. For a mythical 21st team in the league to finish 8th, they needed 62, because the season then had another set of 38x3 = 114 points available. Basic mathematics - its not that difficult to comprehend.

Of all the teams competing for 7th / 8th place only Fulham won this weekend (Brentford yet to play - away at Man U on Monday night).

So as daft and unlikely as it sounds, especially in the light of how we played last night, we’re still only two points off 8th !

Beat Man Utd and its on. Not so much Europe but belief that we are heading upwards and next season will be better..

Hopefully Man U can do us a favour tomorrow night.

Beat Wolves and we are still in the mix for the Conference League.
