Bayern want Brobbey

Thought they wanted Woltemade
They did but not for the money Newcastle started offering.

Mentioned elsewhere, Buy'em like to have the up and coming Mannschaft players on their books as a prestige thing. They'd have had Nick as a player to develop and keep up their "Germany's biggest team" shtick. But he's clearly no where near the valuation the mags thought.

Imho they were desperate to sign a big money player after all the knock backs, heard that Buy'em were tabling an offer and decide based on that to "swoop in"! Clearly having done little to now research on the players career bar hearing he'd had a good season at Stuttgart, who over achieved a bit, and had a good Euro U21's, despite being there at 23.

I was being sarcastic

We aren’t going to have a mass exodus of players like.

And all of our players who have impressed and linked with moves away - most signed a five year deal, so have four years left after this season.

That means we demand serious money and get serious profit. That then gets reinvested. If they don’t offer serious money, they’ll be swiftly told to fuck off and stop wasting our and the player’s time.

I’m not worried at all.
I’ve heard/read a number of times that part of the recruitment attraction for young talent, is the commitment from the club that they won’t stand in their way if they want to leave for a bigger club - and if the price is right of course.

We’re ganna be rich 😂😂 honestly I wouldn’t let any of them go unless it’s for serious money. All under long deals etc we hold all the cards. Yes we won’t stand in the way of players but we also won’t have our pants pulled down or be dictated to anymore. We’re a premier league club now.

Thought as much.

But as I posted, it's still a possibility that they'll come back to him, especially if his time with the mags continues to be piss poor.
Yeah I don’t disagree and tbf to you I hadn’t appreciated that angle on it from Bayern. I just thought it was hilarious they’ve been telling us they beat Bayern to Germany’s number nine, only to put him on the bench as a midfielder.

£100m for Brobbey and Roefs. Could we make the team/squad stronger with that? Potentially £30m or so for Garcia of Madrid.
Garcia isn't that good like. People go on about him because he plays for real madrid every few weeks. Not worth anything near that figure.

According to The Athletic yesterday, Real Madrid have decided that Endrick is going back there for next season and are prepared to let Garcia go with a buy back clause. I'd be surprised if our recruitment team aren't all over that already. Whether that would influence any decision on letting Brobbey go, who knows? I think Isidor will be away regardless and Maynda possibly on loan. Can we afford to have 3 new centre forwards in the squad at the same time?

Unless BB decides to kick up a fuss for a move, which I don't think he seems the type to, then we should say £80M, put the money on the table or don't bother I think BB and GG will be our two main attacking options next season.
