So you suggest 32 yo Kane is worth 60m of the 90m valuation of BB?£90m. Cheers.
Or £30m + Kane

Yeah like the mags with IsakHe signed a 5 year deal with us did he not? We have all the power.
They did but not for the money Newcastle started offering.Thought they wanted Woltemade
I was being sarcasticThey did but not for the money Newcastle started offering.
Mentioned elsewhere, Buy'em like to have the up and coming Mannschaft players on their books as a prestige thing. They'd have had Nick as a player to develop and keep up their "Germany's biggest team" shtick. But he's clearly no where near the valuation the mags thought.
Imho they were desperate to sign a big money player after all the knock backs, heard that Buy'em were tabling an offer and decide based on that to "swoop in"! Clearly having done little to now research on the players career bar hearing he'd had a good season at Stuttgart, who over achieved a bit, and had a good Euro U21's, despite being there at 23.
A least with this proposal Kane will not have to play against his former club£90m. Cheers.
Or £30m + Kane
Flash in the pan iirc£90m. Cheers.

Tbf, I don't think the narrative arc of this is complete until @Hongkongphooey has to get a Sunderland shirt with Kane on it, when he comes here in summer 2027.Flash in the pan iirc
I’ve heard/read a number of times that part of the recruitment attraction for young talent, is the commitment from the club that they won’t stand in their way if they want to leave for a bigger club - and if the price is right of course. We aren’t going to have a mass exodus of players like.
And all of our players who have impressed and linked with moves away - most signed a five year deal, so have four years left after this season.
That means we demand serious money and get serious profit. That then gets reinvested. If they don’t offer serious money, they’ll be swiftly told to fuck off and stop wasting our and the player’s time.
I’m not worried at all.
Worth every penny of his £400,000 a week wagesTbf, I don't think the narrative arc of this is complete until @Hongkongphooey has to get a Sunderland shirt with Kane on it, when he comes here in summer 2027.
Thought as much.I was being sarcastic
Think 3 or 4 will be gone and we'll recoup upwards of £200m....Wouldn’t surprise me to be honest.
Based on nothing but I don’t think Brobby wlll be here next season
Yeah I don’t disagree and tbf to you I hadn’t appreciated that angle on it from Bayern. I just thought it was hilarious they’ve been telling us they beat Bayern to Germany’s number nine, only to put him on the bench as a midfielder.Thought as much.
But as I posted, it's still a possibility that they'll come back to him, especially if his time with the mags continues to be piss poor.
Garcia isn't that good like. People go on about him because he plays for real madrid every few weeks. Not worth anything near that figure.£100m for Brobbey and Roefs. Could we make the team/squad stronger with that? Potentially £30m or so for Garcia of Madrid.
