We are a worse team with McGeady in and in the last 2 and a half seasons our results with him out of the team are miles better than when he plays.
The conversation has absolutely nothing to do with what you’ve contributed. Specifically, we are talking about individual ability, and absolutely nothing to do with how said individuals may or may not affect the team. McGeady’s ability last season was clear, and we also performed miles better with him in the team than when he was absent under Parky.

Again not true. He was dropped by Parky after we had only won once in our first 9 games under him. We then lost once in the next 16 when he was out of the side. Under Johnson we are now a much more coherent side that can press without McGeady. He might have a role to play but he’s not good enough at his age to start regularly in our side.

Again, nothing to do with the conversation. I don’t disagree with your points, but they have nothing to do with what the conversation was about. Summerbee reckons Bannan is the most accomplished midfielder to play in League One. I reckon it’s McGeady; or at least McGeady is more accomplished than Bannan, both in terms of overall career and the peak performance shown whilst playing in this league. Absolutely nothing to do with McGeady now, pressing, how he fits in the team, how he performs right now, how he’s performed this season, whether he can start regularly in the current side, or our sides coherence with / without McGeady - or any other of your irrelevant arguments. What you’re saying is right, but irrelevant to where the thread was focused.
