Ban dogs from pubs or anywhere that serves food indoors.

Can't recall ever being in a pub with a yappy dog that it's owners have ignored to be honest. Mind I'd rather sit with a yappy dog than the OP if his weird SMB persona is owt like his real one.
Me neither, yet the dog haters of the SMB claim that whenever they go into a pub, the noise is like feeding time at Battersea. Barking, biting, dogs running everywhere, etc etc. Either they go into absolutely mental pubs, the likes nobody else here has ever seen, or they are making it up to get attention on this thread. I suspect the latter.

@Georgewhitt "Same as you can be the best parents in the world but if your kid is absolutely determined to do stuff behind your back it's ot really stoppable if it's a part of them."

There's the original post.

I'll refer again to part " it's not really stoppable if it's part of them" as being a born with Behavioral disorder.

I'd rather ban yay.
I agree Chris. It is true that badly trained dogs should be trained or banned, however training is easy so no fuss there.
I always take my dog to the pub after his three to five hour walk each day. Most pub customers are pleased to see them. European bars are kinder than many UK ones regarding dogs.
I fear that COX GREEN is the one who needs avoiding. Luckily we have been warned.

A little tip for those who go stroke dogs without checking their other their owner first, always clench your fist and let let them sniff your knuckles. That way they can’t bite your fingers and also you can give it a swift jab in the nose if the mood takes you.
The report I read about dogs also said don't put your fist towards a dog for it to sniff as they also see that as a threat yet it's something I've always done and never been bitten. It said you should always let the dog make the first move and allow it to sniff you.

Should be banned from outdoors entirely imo, sick of seeing dog shites left on the path
That is true. It is mostly due to laziness. However Newcastle Council are appalling in that they removed 75% of their waste bins several years ago so I take a spare bag for the poo bags. Not everybody does so.
My dog goes most places with me, including work.
I'm the boss, you don't like it. Get another job marra.
Easy.
I am the same as you in that respect. I also encourage staff to bring dogs too. It is good for business, for me, for my staff and for the dogs as well.

I was going to post a photo of a pub and say “Spot the Dog”

The pub is The Stack and the dog is a Dalmation so it’s a hilarious play on words.

But there is no point now is there.

No problem with a dog in a pub if its quiet and just sits relativley unnoticed. If the dog barks though they shouldnt be in a pub.

Restaurants / Dining areas is a no.

All these dogs in pubs it must kick off sometimes with them trying to play/fight, it’s not for me dogs near dinner tables etc, if the place is known for that and ppl are aware then fair enough, but I’d be out of there like a whippet😳
The only ones that try to kick off are the ones who rarely get to the pub and are not socialised enough . Most the times the dogs just curl up in a corner and get the odd crisp

If I go in my local early evening tonight be 5-6 dogs in I would imagine .

This time of year also pubs are full of the usual Boxing Day/new years day, “let’s go somewhere more rural”, then complain when there’s wet, muddy, stinking mutts everywhere folk. Get a grip.
