So whats he actually saved then gobshite?

Name what he has done and the massive financial implications they have had instead of just being a prick as usual.

Was in australia for new year and stayed a few weeks extra checking out houses mate.
Resorting to name-calling when you haven't got a good enough response. How sad.
Well the fact that Gary the Hair went (would have been on an absolute fortune. We haven't gone down the reckless spending route we would have done in previous years (i.e. spending money that we simply don't have or that would jeopardize the financial future of the club)

Sorry but that's rubbish mate. Ask any rangers fan, he tried to warn everyone of what would happen under Whyte and was the good guy that paid the price.

Give him a chance of fixing this massive mess he's come into, he's not a magician and we should finally appreciate the honesty. The OP is why a lot of owners, players and managers don't stand a chance up here, fans want everything yesterday even when the guy has one arm tied behind his back.

I know a lot of rangers fans. They pretty much all agree that that's about the only thing he did that was good. Most of them seem to suggest he had no time whatsoever for the fans, suggesting to me that his "we need to reconnect" is a load of bollocks. They also say he was very much a yes man, if Short has one aim (simply getting the debt down in order to sell) then he'll do that however he can with the performances on the pitch being secondary. They also say he was fairly shit at negotiations, which equally doesn't bode well and then there were other comments that we probably shouldn't discuss on here. I'm not writing him off, just simply stating that I don't particularly trust him and that I think this openness is a load of corporate shite to try and keep people on side whilst the club goes about it's plans.

I'm not writing him off, like everyone else he'll be judged on how we perform, I hope he proves my mistrust to be absolutely unfounded

So gary the hairs wages and not spending money we dont have to jeopardise the clubs future:lol:

You realise he was here in the summer when we spunked 30 million on a varying array of dogshit?

Unbelievable.

The summer was a strange one, given that we didn't have a manager for about 4 weeks of pre season
So when we finally got one, we had to rush things (I genuinely think if we'd have had Moyes from June, he'd have made totally different signings)

Suspect The Hair will be having his wages subsidised by the club. Even conservative estimates had him on £400k pa

The lads at Wembley would have to have been higher than Wiz Khalifa to pay him anything near that

Good chance the troll-headed little spenk is still leeching money from the club

Yet bain signed off on them all even when-

we had no money

they were panic buys

they jeopardised the clubs future

You just contradicted your entire argument you loon:lol:

Yeah we had him in training just for the craic:lol:

The more likely scenario is he is kone's replacement given all the noises about money coming out of the club.
More than likely you absolutely fuck all, did you miss the bit where I said he was training and then he'd be considered for a short term deal.

Fancy thinking he is a direct replacement for Kone!

Brought in to do Shorts dirty work. But in a sickly smooth way that hoodwinks the fans into blaming yet another manager.

This. Openness with the fans thus far has consisted of "we've got no money but we're working on it". Jam tomorrow. Now, this might well be him simply being honest and he might have every intention of staying here years and seeing us improve. Or the boss, who wants to sell, might have brought him in purely to cut costs, get the sale done however he can and then he might be on his way with a nice bonus and never need to worry about performance on the pitch. Time will tell. I'm not anti-bain but a lot seem very positive about him for very little (while Moyes says broadly similar things and gets slaughtered).

Saved us that 400k a year but gave him a 1.5 million severance package:lol:

Summed up rather well.

Fancy trying to justify his signing:lol:

If anybody had suggested signing him at the end of last season after his car tweet and dogshit performances they would have been torn to pieces.

6 months later after a turgid spell in a nothing league hes decent cover:lol:

Those palms must be red raw you snivelling balloon:oops:

Can you point out anywhere where I've justified his signing, I think you'll find my first post on this thread was mentioning this fuckin circus of a club.

Please fuck off back to where you've been as this place has been a better place without you. You are a fuckin clown of the highest order and now bullshit about Australia! It seems there's only one snivelling balloon.

The latest fall guy for ellis or just another bluffing a living at safc?

19th october 2016.

“This football club has to get better at buying and selling football players.

“I see it and I hope I can achieve. Like it or lump it we should be looking at bringing players to this football club and selling them for a greater value.

“We have to look at acquiring players at a younger age too.”

24 days into the first window since those comments and we have lescott the pensioner on a 5 month deal.
Made 11.5 million profit on pva
