To be fair these were cheap signinings and squad fillers.
He is talking about buying absolute shit like Buckley, putting them on contracts that no one can ever match and saddling us with them for four years.
That is the problem, not lescott.

Its just money down the drain mate. 3 signings since he made those comments and all 3 were shite.
 
Oviedo before his injury was on the radar for a big money move to Man Utd.
In the scheme of things he ain't a shit signing.
He needs time to recover mentally and will prove to be ok.

Hes got nothing going forward and has as many defensive lapses as pva but doesnt have the pace to bail himself out.

So thats a 2m signing.
We have spent 8m on 27/28 yo who is lucky to get on the bench.
We have spent 13m on a 21/22 yo who isnt british enough, doesnt speak a 'lick of english' and is also on the bench.
He has demonised khazri a 24/25 yo who was key last year to the extent he is lucky to get on the bench.
Highly rated young uns ( you know the ones mr vain said we need to develop and sell at a profit ) are being kept out by no hopers like rodwell, larsson, gibson.
But hey a 2m player bought 2 year ago is the problem.

I am not saying he is the problem but signings like Buckley are.
I agree with the players you named to a degree.
Ndong will prove to be a good signing however.

Too late. Love was written off after the Man City game on August 13th as was McNair even though he got 7 minutes and NDong was wrote off v Everton on Monday 12th September
