The only trouble though they are temperamental.
Not my choice of dogs.
A decent bloke has one in our village. A bitch.
He always puts it on the lead with other dogs, particularly with other bitches as it attacks them. Can let it off the lead with mine or other Labs in the Village as they get on without a problem.
Always unsure when I see one off the lead though just because of the breed.
Equally even more “reliable” and generally friendly breeds can have a dog which is temperamental. Have to agree though owners do play a significant part in how a dog behaves but sometimes a dog can simply have an aggressive nature.

My Pug had to be put down this week unfortunately, never was temperamental with either of my boys or other dogs. The only dogs I ever had issues when I was out walking her was Staffies, Such powerful animals when they want to attack and I have genuinely been frightened on two occasions when I have had to pull her to safety from them
I have also met very friendly ones but there seems to be a issue with some owners and training of these dogs, or lack of by some cretins that own them.

You simply cannot argue against the facts.
Each to their own but I would hate to own a dog that I have to put on a lead when taking it out for a walk.
One of the best trainers of dogs I ever seen was my step mam, and her nana before her. Dogs are not a toy, they have emotions and needs like any other living thing. When they don't know how to express their desire for attention and no one else teaches them they will do the only thing they know

Most dogs are capable of killing a bairn, I remember hearing in the news years ago 2 f***ing sausage dogs killed a baby in Spain or France or some shit.

If records were kept, I’d guess that Staffies have caused far more deaths and serious injuries than any other breed in the U.K. over recent years.

Yet I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one tomorrow great dogs if they get the love attention and exercise they need

We've got one and she's the most loving placid dog you could ask for. She's been like it all her life and now she's 13 she can't even be bothered to bark anymore.
The thing about staffies are they're generally lovely. The problem is if they do kick off they go nuclear. My daft sproker puppy was jumping all over one the other day at the beach and it was nee bother. my heart was in my mouth the entire time despite the reassurance of the owner it would be ok with it. They're canny intimidating little bastards to be fair

I dare say that may be correct but I will also hazard a guess that most serious staffie attacks will be carried out the ones owned by fuckwits using them as a cock extension..
