How?West Ham away was a digital ticket and didn't have a name on.
Every match I've been to this season apart from West Ham at home has been by getting tickets of friends of friends.

I assume you just send the link to anyoneHow do the manage to sell them? I thought the way they do it now is foolproof.
So if someone has 80 points (earnt from attending games themselves) and cant make a game and they pass their ticket onto a family member they get banned? To make any system work, that had to be the first step. Otherwise why not keep it how it is.
They’re already banning people after doing ID checks fwiw.
So people on 40 points (be even higher for allocations less than 3k) have the same chance of getting an away ticket as those on zero and sacked the club off during league 1 and championship days? Aye that seems really fair that. Again, could shoot the club in the foot as those on 0 wouldn't be bothering should we go down and maybe those on decent points that get forced out may decide not to bother too.20% of ticket allocation to go into a ballot for all season ticket holders has been brought up apparently![]()
Only sensible. Here here… or if your membership number is above 42200 you’re in phase 2.
Not so astounding really.Just astounds me, it hasn’t been an issue for donkeys years but now it’s a problem….
I was thereWasn’t this problem for Bristol away on Good Friday!! It didn’t even sell out but now everyone can start travelling again.. makes you think![]()
Yeah there has to be some bend in the rules - one or two transfers a season is fine provided the person you are transferring to gets the point instead of you.So if someone has 80 points (earnt from attending games themselves) and cant make a game and they pass their ticket onto a family member they get banned?
Thats absolutely nonsensical (as well as being a disgrace) and would come back to shoot the club in its foot. There would be a decent amount of empty seats every away game. You should absolutely be able to pass on tickets in instances where you are unable to attend last minute. A pragmatic approach is essential. So allow people 1 or 2 games to skip a game and pass onto friend or relative.

Yeah i agree with that. But it would be nice if the club could say what the position is so everyone is clear. Nobody really has a scooby do what will happen if a one off. I suspect you'd get a snotty message from the club but a bit of clarity would be good.Yeah there has to be some bend in the rules - one or two transfers a season is fine provided the person you are transferring to gets the point instead of you.
Any more than that and suddenly people would be ill/working/have to look after their sisters dig at very short notice every other week
I don't think they have even said what is acceptable ID for anyone picked for an ID checkYeah i agree with that. But it would be nice if the club could say what the position is so everyone is clear. Utter rubbish. 70 points is phase 1 for every game this season so how do you work that outWhy would I whinge. I live in London and don’t have a SC so I benefit from the current set up. More ID checks means less ticket availability for me.
I know that it’s a big enough “issue” that obtaining away tickets with zero points is easier than obtaining them with 70.
Keep up.
You’re struggling.Utter rubbish. 70 points is phase 1 for every game this season so how do you work that out

when we go to the rugby at twickenham this is what happens with the qr code changing all the time.I assume you just send the link to anyone
Then if you get pulled for an ID check ticket is cancelled and when you go to away ticket office they have your details to match the ID
I suspect not too far in the future all PL tickets will be delivered via an app with frequently changing QR codes etc then the only way to share is to trust someone with your login details
Wonder how high the membership numbers actually go?Here here… or if your membership number is above 42200 you’re in phase 2.
Its not easier than buying them yourself in the first place is it? Hyperbolic rubbish, hes spot on.You’re struggling.
Relatively easy to pick up a ticket for a London game the day before at face value (or less).
I’m not sure you understand how this works.
The PL is working towards dynamic QR codes which are, as you say, standard at other events.when we go to the rugby at twickenham this is what happens with the qr code changing all the time.
It wasn’t a first offence from what I was told.Fuck around and find out I suppose
That level of punishment for a first offence is a bit harsh like imo (as much as I hate the selling on of tickets) - I reckon a warning for a first offence is enough and points wipe for second offence and then punishment they have had for a third offence is fine if you are stupid enough to get caught three times (assuming you could get a chance to actually buy a ticket with zero points)
