Away Teams Hotel

Different clubs stay at different hotels. Some use the Raddison Blu in Durham, others use Ramside, some stay at the Malmaison in Newcastle. Some have even stayed at the Hilton at the ground.

Royal County regularly had team coaches outside.

I stayed there last Friday night. Full of Forest fans for Saturday breakfast.

I have seen oppostion teams at the raddisoon blue in Durham before.

They definitely stay there, they’ve got a special cordoned off area of the hotel for that very reason

Makes sense to stay in a nice hotel on outskirts of a city centre , and a bit nuts to stay bang smack in middle .

They used to stay at the marriott a lot. Its probably just down to what corporate account and deal they have for all their trips during the season. Unfortunately we still need more of the major operators to open a hotel in town

Personally I think that is very poor now and in need of a major update, restaurant is terrible!

Generally they stay in Newcastle, the decent one down on the quayside. Who cares though?

The Hilton is actually in Gateshead, there is no longer a decent hotel on the Quayside.

I only go from what my kids tell me. A little while back I was in town with the Boss. I mentioned we were thinking of having a look in the gin bar there. Daughter said “it is where the slappers go when they have pulled, you will hate it”.

Mind you, I'm 99% certain Xhaka posted a picture of his family out for a walk on the town moor.
