Doesn't really affect me, if an away team can't sell out their allocation, there's gonna be empty seats somewhere, what difference does it make if you can see them on telly or not?Would you not rather it full?
Looks better. Already said that.Doesn't really affect me, if an away team can't sell out their allocation, there's gonna be empty seats somewhere, what difference does it make if you can see them on telly or not?
Inside the ground is cashless anyway. Burger vans will suffer a bit.Away fans can't use burger vans or buy inside the ground in case they get change![]()
Suppose you've got a warning now to bring your £50 in notes and to leave your vape at home (if you're a grown man should you be vaping anyway, lets be serious)What if you’ve got an expensive vape and £50 in coins![]()
There is, we've emailed details to the club. There must be a finer yet sturdy alternative to the one that was shown at the meeting like. I was only half joking abut the chicken wire....
Theft of coins. Forced to donate to a charity you might not agree with...someone will make a legal case against it. Expect tit for tat soon
Hard to say as I don't believe anywhere does confiscate vapes. Where could you leave it if for example you travelled on public transport and didn't drive. In any case its stupid, won't be enforceable and makes the club look ridiculous if I'm honestWould you take it somewhere if you'd had prior warning that said venue will confiscate it?
You could, but what difference is a vape and a lighter which will be allowed? (I'm assuming the one thrown was a smaller disposable one compared to the heavier expensive ones)You could get a disposable one for the day and throw it away before the ground.
Airport style security checks is exactly what the club are proposing matw.
Following a request made on Thursday morning, the EFL have agreed that coins and vapes will no longer be permitted in the away section of the North Stand at the Stadium of Light.

It was, they're easily concealable and any away fans wanting to take one in will have no bother getting it in.You could, but what difference is a vape and a lighter which will be allowed? (I'm assuming the one thrown was a smaller disposable one compared to the heavier expensive ones)
Just seems impossible to police them rules with so many coming in at roughly the same time. It will catch loads of fans out who don't know the rule, and imagine the ructions of stewards trying to take a away a bairns pocket money with the parents kicking off, and other fans seeing that as well.
I can just see it causing total chaos timewise/and the arguments that will happen when the rules are enforced.
Hard hats for all below was 2nd choice closely followed by compulsory giant foam hands for all away supporters in 3rd.Well that's just f***ing pathetic that is. Banning money. Shambles.![]()
When did that become important?Looks awful on the tele.
Barmy isn't it?Never understood why any of our fans are bothered what the away end in our stadium looks like on the telly me?![]()
