Away Fans at SOL Update

Where did i say it was my opinion that "a net wouldn't stop everything". It's says in the statement the supporters group agreed to the decision..what else can that mean??? That they wanted one and the club are lying? Don't think so. Let the club just keep on dragging their feet while fans below run the gauntlet every home game of being injured👏👏

We agreed that a net wouldn't have stopped everything that has been thrown this season. No more, no less, just exactly what it says.

The net that was brought to the meeting was like a football goal net. We have since got examples of nets from around europe and sent these to the club for consideration. FWIW, we wanted a net put in after Coventry.

A bloody football goal net! Are they taking the piss! So out of touch our club is. Well the group needs to clarify the clubs statement.

Less shit than a bairn getting a vape thrown off his head though tbh.
Oh yeah that's the most important thing, I'm just hoping if they do get moved down. Depending on how many fans they bring would depend on the size of the Segregation.

That's what should really happen, no point in trying to shoehorn the away fans downstairs and upset the majority of people.

The club should put some new layouts for the ground forward to allow fans to see what the possible options are for the various areas
They should also have an early window when you confirm whether you'd like to keep your seat or move elsewhere so that there's a good period of time for people to choose a new seat.

There must be a finer yet sturdy alternative to the one that was shown at the meeting like. I was only half joking abut the chicken wire....

No chance will people move from their season ticket seats to be offered a place up in the gods.

Obviously seats in the lower bowl will also be available, but they are going to be limited. I wonder if they contact those that used to sit in the PC first, to try and free up more space in the lower bowl?

The renewals go out in March, so I’d imagine they will want all this sorting by Feb

Completely re-designing the stadium layout is an incredibly expernsive and complicated job. Given the fact we struggled to open the Ticket Office and renew and sell cards for this season the reallocation of thousands of season card holders it threatens wholesale chaos.

Never understood why any of our fans are bothered what the away end in our stadium looks like on the telly me?

This. It's very confusing why anyone would be bothered at all.
