Australia v India

Was watching the first session last night and Pujara was getting pummelled with the short ball.

What is it with batsmen now taking their eyes off the ball and turning the head away? Surely most injuries occur in this manner? They cant be getting to test level whilst being frightened of the ball surely?

is it because they have grown up wearing helmets and are therefore not taught to watch the ball as much?
 


Shubman gill aill be an absolute world beater. Seen him in the u19 world cup for india a few year ago an he was brilliant. Batted 3/4 then i think
Pant looks brilliamt when he plays his shots. He looks like hes never played before when he tries to hit everything too hard

Gill looks incredible playing his cuts and punches off the back foot and seems to have so much time when the ball comes to him. Think he’ll score a shit loads of runs against us in India but be interesting to see how he gets on in England
