Yep. Coldest i've EVER been at a game.
Aye, would be close to 70K in reality. If the expansion went all the way round. It would be 66,000. 55,000 to south. And if they decided to make it a full bowl it would be 66,000-67,000 fans. Read it years ago
I sit in the north, tell him if they lose on Friday night me and me mates are gonna knack him on Saturday.Cheers got one of them for the daughters boyfriend,a Blackpool season ticket holder, his first time at the SOL !
How long would it take for it to be sustainable and pay for itself?Club are looking at generating income, so can't rule out NFL etc
For what, an NFL game?I'd be surprised if theres enough demand for it truth be told.
As rock probablyI sit in the north, tell him if they lose on Friday night me and me mates are gonna knack him on Saturday.
Is he hard?
Simple but effectiveAs rock probably

I'm not talking about on the balance sheet or FFP breakdown.Building costs are capital expenditure, and only hit cash flow, not profit. Given the ground is valued as an investment property, and not at cost, its impact in P&L terms is zero. Fund it from long-term external finance, and it's more than sustainable.
He is talking about two USA teams coming over It would sell out but they don't need to bring it here as it would sell out just about anywhere. Getting a Rugby League tournament would attract lots of people from York's/Lancs. Unfortunately, the mags got in before us.The NFL in Sunderland?![]()

Nfl would take an insane amount of work in the stadiums , dressing rooms would need to be doubled in size.Club are looking at generating income, so can't rule out NFL etc
I believe 63k is the the figure of the south and east extentions.63k is the max expansion available without major surgery.
I agree it should be done.
48K is absolutely fine. We could / should think about extending and improving available commercial facilities maybe. More revenue there.I'm not talking about on the balance sheet or FFP breakdown.
I'm talking about the actual expenditure. What is the point of spending 50-60m on an extension that will very very rarely be filled. Less than 6 times per year.
When the club is not investing in anything, why on earth are they going to throw that money towards something that they'll never get back before selling the club or be paying back with very little gains.
People are absolutely mental if they want us to have 20k empty seats week after week. It looks great when it's full, not when it's half empty.
