Building costs are capital expenditure, and only hit cash flow, not profit. Given the ground is valued as an investment property, and not at cost, its impact in P&L terms is zero. Fund it from long-term external finance, and it's more than sustainable.
I'm not talking about on the balance sheet or FFP breakdown.

I'm talking about the actual expenditure. What is the point of spending 50-60m on an extension that will very very rarely be filled. Less than 6 times per year.

When the club is not investing in anything, why on earth are they going to throw that money towards something that they'll never get back before selling the club or be paying back with very little gains.

People are absolutely mental if they want us to have 20k empty seats week after week. It looks great when it's full, not when it's half empty.

The NFL in Sunderland?
He is talking about two USA teams coming over It would sell out but they don't need to bring it here as it would sell out just about anywhere. Getting a Rugby League tournament would attract lots of people from York's/Lancs. Unfortunately, the mags got in before us.

63k is the max expansion available without major surgery.
I agree it should be done.
I believe 63k is the the figure of the south and east extentions.

More could be added with another tier on the west.

Hopefully the club is in a position to extend in the near future because it would mean the football is heading in the right direction.

It would look superb.

Back to today let’s fill the fecka on Saturday!

48K is absolutely fine. We could / should think about extending and improving available commercial facilities maybe. More revenue there.
