Attendance Thread - QPR

After nearly 41k at the first game and a good win at Bristol last week, that's pretty piss poor in comparison.
It is the way football is going. Results alone and indeed quality of opposition no longer determine how many fans turn up. To many it is a day out or merely an opportunity to watch the lads at a convenient date and in which case an agreement to go has been made regardless of the result of the last game.

Saturday 3pm ko.

Gloriously sunny weather on the cards.

Pre-match pints alfresco 👍

Bring it on....can't wait whatever the crowd.

Oh, and there's a train strike in which yours truly has thankfully avoided courtesy of Southern/Grand Central trains. So sod the crowd and let's roar the lads to 3 points, eh. FTM

Like other responders, you're ignoring the words "on comparison".
I have done some comparing and our "piss poor" 38,000 will be more than twice any other Championship attendance today.
Can't see any of these 8 games below getting 19,000

  • Cardiff City 12:30 Birmingham City
  • Blackpool 15:00 Swansea City
  • Huddersfield Town 15:00 Stoke City
  • Hull City 15:00 Norwich City
  • Luton Town 15:00 Preston North End
  • Millwall 15:00 Coventry City
  • Rotherham United 15:00 Reading
  • Wigan Athletic 15:00 Bristol City

It's excellent and no other team in this league will beat that this season.
There would be a massive media thing made of any other club hitting that attendance and some of us are disappointed with it😂

Amazing when it put into perspective!
Would Cardiff possibly manage half?
