Attendance Thread - QPR

After nearly 41k at the first game and a good win at Bristol last week, that's pretty piss poor in comparison.
Piss poor? After all the disappointments this club has put the fans through?

Far better than anything outside the Premier League and better than half of the elite league. And peak holiday time.

Piss poor? Put your drink down and apologise.

Current sales show 31232, which based on previous matches excludes away fans.

Attendance figures are how many tickets are sold, including season tickets, not how many people actually attend the game
What is this obsession with attendance? Give me 3pts infront of 20k!!!!

Tracker 34,492 less 492 blanked out.
Add corporate c2000
Add QPR fans 900
Total sales to date 36,900
Hopefully get 38,000 for tomorrow.

I couldn't disagree anymore, especially when you take into account the cost of living and the increase of matchday tickets.

The first game back into the championship will always attract a bumper crowd.

Edit: Also Coventry brought a 1,000 more.

By the time kick off comes around tomorrow the attendance figure won’t be too far off the Coventry game.

QPR probably bringing a thousand fewer fans which will almost make the difference between the two games.

Mid August and peak holiday season will account for many an absentee too.

I know there are exceptions but generally it’s a more enjoyable experience when the lower bowl is full. Obviously it relies on the performance on the pitch mainly, but when in sync with a good crowd its class. I’m thinking v Everton, Chelsea, sheff wed in more recent times.
