Tends to be (at least I hope) football fans who are only interested cos its the Ashes. Tail did well to get us a decent score, been bowling for about 20 mins and had a couple of shouts and the numptys are saying its game over  Its the same people who were slating us (someone even said Cook should resign ) half way through the first test.

Wasn't someone saying we should have put them in yesterday?

not much going on though, they look pretty comfortable seeing the new ball off. good batting conditions etc...

i'm sure things will be different on day 4/5 but I suspect good batting conditions until then.

How you can say they look comfortable after only a few overs is odd. I bet people thought we looked set when we were 4 wickets down y'day, only for 3 quick uns to fall. Put it in the right areas and is still doing a bit.

Aye. Lambton Worm. It was as batting friendly as it could be

Going to just have to keep it tight here I think, with this outfield anything that's there to be hit is going to get multiple runs a time

Will Cook now be labelled as the best captain in the world for making a bowling change? Hyperbole isn't solely the domain of the fans, though i'm surprised Mark Nicholas can say anything with his tongue firmly lodged in Michael Clark's rectum

That was me, but you didn't take it seriously did you?

It was said tongue in cheek due to my previous Cook-bashing when he went on that long barren run mate.

I don't think there is a worse team out there with the review system. I thought Pak and Ind were shite at it till I saw the aussies.

team dynamics for the aussies. clarke and watson do not get on at all. watson fancied a ton today and thought the risk was worth it, he is not a team player at all (for a team led by clarke anyway). f***ing crazy as it was plumb, god knows what rodgers actually said to him as if it made much difference...
