So you bowled all day and you got the nightwatchman and someone slogging out.
Pahhhahahaha.
And it was a cloudy day.

Didn't like, first time I've seen it and it looks a clear catch.wish they would shut up about the catch the ball touched the ground.
Just listening to Root on TMS, speaking well.
Why are cricketers usually so much more articulate than footballers?![]()
Didn't like, first time I've seen it and it looks a clear catch.
Because it's a middle class sport.

I think when he first took the ball a section of it is on the grass![]()
Can anyone please explain to me with a lead of over 500 bairstow and root don't go completely on the attack?
What is the point in playing a forward defensive stroke with that lead, the team must come before a batsman taking a risk to add runs quickly and getting himself out??
It baffles me tbh.
Looked out to me mind.
Im not middle class but can easily string a few sentences together without struggling or sounding like a thick head.
Nah, you are confusing the grass with his fingers marra
Are you always negative or just when it comes to cricket? We have another 2 days to play, a kid, who is looking to prove himself as an international opener is close to 200, the run rate was going along nicely towards the end and the aussies were being taken apart both mentally and physically.

The run rate could have been better,i just dont understand why any batsman will play forward defensive strokes with a lead over 500,its a no lose situation to just go out all out attack, can you imagine the aussies 6 ,7 years ago(gilchrist, waugh etc) playing like that?
No they would have went for the kill and battered england all around the park.

Got to be on a wind up.
Even if they haven't been gungho in their approach, England HAVE battered them today. There's two days left, makes sense to help an up and coming lad build a massive, confidence-boosting score.
This and this, get Root through 200 and get the lead past 600 for me, completely demoralise them.
There can't be an Aussie in that side that fancies being in the field tomorrow. Even Siddle looked downhearted which is an impressive feat by itself.
England should win by 350-400 runs easily with the way Swann will get the ball turning.
Watch this test at Durham end up being a dead rubber!
Feel sorry for Siddle and Harris today. They cannot get much rest due the batsman letting them down
KP out of the rest of the test...injured calf
