See they aren't going cashless in Stanley. They know all of those dressing gown pockets are stashed full of notes.

Aye, mix it with paint thinners on a Saturday night. Kind of the same effect as the way this thread is going

even sketchy wealth needs redistributingGood job they can use a petrol station other than a cashless Asda one then innit
mind i pay mine with XMReven sketchy wealth needs redistributing
I thought it was just the fuel stations going cashless and not the actual supermarket.
Aldi in Greenwich doesn't have any tills. There were barriers at the entrance. You had to download an app and scan yourself into the store and then pay through the app and scan yourself back out. I couldn't be arsed to do that and just went to the Sainsburys Local next door.
Isn't all about you though is it.About time. I've had a tenner (real money) in my wallet for about three years now. Always pay for everything with my watch.
It wouldn't be because they would take the cash in that situation.Youd then be stealing, and, only you, be doing something illegal.
Isn't Bishop Auckland already cashless? No Spenny, Bishop Auckland, Washington, Peterlee
Can't think of anymore locally at present
But Darlington clearly more progressive
@SAFCOldie will embrace this down there I reckon
Fair enough.Isn't all about you though is it.
Aye. It's petrol station is isn't it? Has been for years then? Presumably since it opened as can't remember ever seeing a kioskIsn't Bishop Auckland already cashless?

I.e. the story is a bit of a non story
Surprise there's not more outrage on the thread like given the Cash Is King one seems to be a permanent fixture
Not even someone come along and said they always pay for petrol with cash so giant corporations can't track their motoring habits
They already do..We’ll become a cashless society and then they banks and credit card companies will start charging a fee for every transaction.
