"Armed British Transport police are patrolling this train'

Don't know. The bairn is going on a London school trip next year but several have pulled their child out in case of possible terror attacks.

The ones not going have freaked my bairn out a bit as I was in London for a meeting when the Westminster one happened so she was really worried about me. I told her it's a billion to one chance of anything happening to her but she's still unsure.

There's often some in Newcastle and the Metrocentre too.
You shouldn't lie to your bairn.

The odds are about 1 in 9,500,000 iirc.

Reassure her by telling her you're more likely to die on the train going down there (1 in 500,000)

Nowt to worry about mind. Just keep your head on a swivel and be prepared to dispense swift and lethal justice in a split second.

The people who panic are the ones who get killed first.

Ya kidding me? FFS man :lol::lol:

Nope!

They class has been together since they all started school. They have SATS in early May (mega pressure from Jan to May) then they leave primary school in July. The London trip is purely a fun trip after the SATS where they do sight seeing, see a west end show and just have a fun time together before some get split up and go to different schools.

Mad that like. Even when it was happening on London bridge I didn't really think about it. Could happen anywhere. I certainly don't think about it on a day to day basis.

I live in London, use the tube every day and don't give it a second thought. More chance of tripping over and breaking your neck than being caught up in anything like that.

Anyone who goes to Egypt current is an idiot imo. Totally different scenario.
How many attacks has there been in Egyptian tourist resorts recently?

I was there that day and we were talking about it during the meeting as several people received messages asking if they were ok. I still got on a tube on that evening and went out for dinner and felt perfectly safe.
