Anyone been to vote today...

... The wife is working on a polling station today, they've had 10 people through the door today. 10. Quite clearly no one gives a fuck. Is it time to look at other ways of voting to attract a bigger turn out? The cost per vote must be massive.

Not a surprise really, politicians are all about self gratification.

No vote in my neck of the woods today if there was I would have voted. Currently it is the system, whatever the rights and wrongs of it. In theory meant to provide the police with democratic accountability, so in my view folk should vote.

Postal vote here as well. Otherwise I doubt I'd make or be able to make the time.

The next PM will be elected by 0.34% of the electorate, the Northumbria PCC will be elected by possibly less...

...democracy in action, democracy inaction?
