Depending on the damage and year etc prob around £400 ish

They still average around 2 grand.

At least £500. I had one go on the A1 driving near brownieside. Cost over a grand to sort as when you do it in motion, it knacks a load of other things.

I paid 320 for a timing belt and water pump on a Golf. Was 500 from a dealer?
