Have I missed something? Many speaking like he is off. I’ve only read the Athletic article
He's pretty much gone to be fair like. Im ot sure a sudden contract signing happens too often in these situations.

You can’t believe the reaction?
Really?!
So to recap:Is Neil actually going?? It’s jumped about 50 pages since I last looked.
Where’s this been said mate? I’m sure we will find out at 2pm either way. He's pretty much gone to be fair like. Im ot sure a sudden contract signing happens too often in these situations.
In that case, you can tell us what happens in 20mins - might save a few posters topping themselves during the extra hour’s wait!Hour ahead I meant, I’m all over the shop here![]()
No one is bigger than the club. If he doesn't like the model he should leave and we should get someone else.Fingers crossed he is using this to get the security he deserves, and the autonomy he warrants.
Our manager, who is doing a good job, is leaving for f***ing Stoke, and you think people are over reacting?
It would be far worse IF it happens.I’ve backed the club to the hilt but there is no way you can be positive about this. It’s just Big Sam leaving for England again.
Correct, and if reports on his autonomy from previous clubs are true it's best we leave most of the transfers to the top brass tasked to fulfill the role.Meant the transfer autonomy bit. All for paying him an appropriate wage - so long as we can afford it.
You're assuming we (or they) are willing to give him an improved deal. Can't help feeling if that was the case it would have been sorted over the summer. Hope I'm wrong. Not sure if already mentioned - but he did something similar at Preston.
West Brom were 'interested' which he used as leverage to land a 3-year contract with Preston to stay.
Of course it'll be disappointing if he leaves but for him to leave he has to want to go as well. He wanted the contract he got and knows which way the club wants to go.I’ve backed the club to the hilt but there is no way you can be positive about this. It’s just Big Sam leaving for England again.
Which is why I’m hoping his strong hand now, gets him the deal he wants, if that’s what he wants. As others have said already, this 12-month rolling contract was always going to massively weaken the clubs hand in any negotiation that was ever going to take place with him about his future.
The club was in a hell of a state before Neil came in. It's down to him we are playing Norwich in the championship tomorrow.
