Tbh lads, if he doesn’t go to Stoke now, he’ll greedily lap up the interest of the next club to sack a manager. Shame really, thought he was doing well here.
 
As others have said already, this 12-month rolling contract was always going to massively weaken the clubs hand in any negotiation that was ever going to take place with him about his future.

It’s part of the “sustainable” (cheap) project to deliver data driven deliverables to the stakeholding stakeholders.

Fair point but I was just suggesting that this may always have been a temporary arrangement in his head. If it is true that he wanted a rolling contract then I could only think it was for an easy get out.
