Why has the club not offered him a new contract when he got us promoted? We have shown no loyalty in him and why should we expect him to be loyal to the club?

They have wealthy owners but they spunked money as badly as we have, without results, and have had to pay off their latest managerial casualty. I feel like they are offering him a better work environment rather than purely financial gains
Suppose we don’t know. Very early days in the season so can’t really take into account that Stoke haven’t started that well. Think we’ll all be f***ing gutted if he leaves like. But see what happens.

So easy for someone within the club to tell a local journo that it's BS and to get it out to the fans... the longer that doesn't happen...
Would be a travesty from the club if they allow him to leave, and I can't understand why he'd want to either.

100% what they are saying but of course it won’t be taken that way if you don’t want to.

Why aye man

Are you saying Athletic have put out an entire piece, expressing doubt whether Neil will be taking the press conference this afternoon, entirely based on the reaction on twitter and the SMB which has largely been people telling anyone who is expressing doubt about Neil’s future that they’re raging fannies, melons and empty vessels? The expectation online from most SAFC fans is that nowts a bother, signings are going to be announced and Alex Neil wouldn’t leave for Stoke.
