According to that bloke who does Newcastle coverage on BBC Newcastle he guarantee’s Newcastle trophy’s, probably the UEFA cup within three seasons 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
Will take them 4/5 years to qualify for it never mind win it the fcuking loon
Some are going really over the top mind. I get the Saudis are rich, you'd assume they've come here to compete, but there's no evidence of it yet and they might run it in a more sustainable manner than expected. It's like that soft cock wanker from BT constantly banging on about the champions league; even if they are ambitious they likely need about 10 years to get anywhere near it given FFP exists, will be closely watched by the other clubs, may even be strengthened, and they currently need as entire new squad (Wilson and Saint-maximin are decent but not CL standard). Got mags here saying about taking Potter, would he want to go there? He's doing class at Brighton who are currently better than the mags, and getting a reputation that could see him get a bigger job than them before long. Just seems a lot assuming they're going to be the next city, which is very premature in terms of their ambitions, and, given the restrictions nowadays, might not even be possible

Would Howe want it? I've always thought he wasn't money crazy

Given his rejection of Celtic, I suspect there are factors that will put him off Newcastle; but ultimately it’s his route back to management.
There were mags saying Klopp should be their next manager on the week the takeover happened

Yep. There were no shortage who were demanding Jose, Klopp or Conte

None of the big names want the job. They are now looking at Eddie Howe.

The squad is poor and they cannot do much in January as non of the big name players move in January.

They will be in a relegation battle and no manager of any worth wants that.

Aye, I know he's not been out of work too long but you almost think he could become the next Curbishley if he doesn't take something soon. Before long prem clubs won't want him, and he won't want most championship clubs, and eventually he'll be forgotten. I imagine he'd take the mags job. If they spend a fair bit he'll enhance his cv having improved them, decent chance for him. Also completely agree with your earlier post, I've always said my yardstick for how worried should be is whether Ashley could have appointed them. Emery would never go under Ashley. I think howe would have been tempted

Newcastle’s fixtures in December look really really tough bad timing for a new manager and they will be looking at them thinking I don’t fancy that start!

Not if they’re lining his pockets with gazillions of riyals, which is considered by many to be the be all and end all in life.

Will be a multi-millionaire many times over anyway at 50.

Probably also prefers Spain to England as he certainly didn't have a good time with Arsenal.

I read a report that the other Premier League clubs have all got together recently to prohibit over-inflated sponsorship deals. So no £1 billion naming rights of the new Saudi Direct Stadium.
I tend to agree with you. The possible caveat being unless he wants another go at Premier League.

It didn't look like he had many Good Ebenings last time. He actually looked traumatized at the end.

I do wonder if Staveley leaked the Emery stuff in the hope to keep the nation on side, whilst in reality she knows it will be Howe
