Have they got a Manager lined up yet?

Quote from Marcotti about Conte going to Spurs

"Barcelona and Real Madrid are out of the question as regards their financial clout so that makes Spurs just about the biggest available club to him at this point."

🤣🤣🤣

Going to be interesting if they go down and wor Mandy loses the saudi’s half their investment by going into the championship, she might literally be for the chop.

I agree tbh. They are struggling to appoint purely down to the fact they are adrift in the bottom 3
football clubs traditionally rush in and must have a new manager in for the next game. He must watch the next game from the stands as he hasn't had time to train with the players. He will be in touch with the bench to start imposing his style on the team though. That's the rules of football and it's bollocks... I actually agree they should take a bit of time to find the right person

It's still going to be Eddie Howe though and tbh I have absolutely no idea what qualifies him for the job other than being more eloquent than most in post match interviews

Have they realised yet that everyone is shunning them because they're genocidal psycopaths?
The thing is these days a shit top flight player is on film star wages. The best ones will be raking in obscene amounts not only from their clubs but endorsements. Will the top top players risk their image and off field earning to get into bed with the Saudis? I mean they’re already worshipped and rich beyond their wildest dreams? I severely doubt it. All I can see them hooking are has beens looking for that final pay day or mercenaries who’ll do more harm than good.

I'm in a harder position because I don't want to be seen to bite the hand that feeds (even though that sentence makes me feel sick). That's why I'm encouraging as many people to act as possible. Why I also suggested other fanbases should pass the banners they create to make a consistent and ever growing statement. I've also stated I would happily donate to a cause to support those in Yemen if someone started one. I'm sure many other Newcastle fans would too.

I've also taken recently to twitter to defend the club's backing of that lad who came out and made it very clear that those views will not be tolerated at our club.

Thanks mate but I didn't do it for respect hence why I never really said anything about it at the time. Just did it because it was right and I'd hope that someone would do likewise if they were in my shoes.

Never met Janey and didn't know her dad but could judge a good character when you see it.

I also feel a bit ashamed that I've bought it up now. I just wanted to prove I'm not a bad person and that hasn't changed.
Sorry I’m a bit late responding to this but I’m slightly astounded by that sentence.

The hand that feeds you is covered in blood, you should be seen to be biting it, you should be chewing the fucker off up to the shoulder!!

Your fans are centre stage, they’re the ones that should be seen to be doing something, that’s the only protests that will have any sort of impact, not those from fans of other teams.

Did you apply the same not biting the hand that feeds mantra to Ashley?

Can you tell me how your sentence can be construed as anything other than: as long as they buy my team a bit of success on the field I should turn a blind eye to their atrocities and record on human rights?

He’s good with the media, therefore the media are good with him. Same as Bruce, Allardyce etc all willing to give interviews and make their time available.

They can't protest though.... for two reasons

1. They campaigned for it. They signed petitions. If this all goes horribly wrong, any protest against their owners is going to be torn apart. Every "Saudi mafia, get out of our club" will be met with that video of the two idiots dancing around to "In The Navy" and pictures of them in Parliament Square, and wearing tea towels on their heads.

2.Theyre shit at protests anyway.

They'll get zero sympathy from anyone if things don't go well and the Saudis don't live up to expectations. Any form of protest against their owners is going to be laughable.

Looking increasingly likely they will appoint Unai Emery.
