Sorry I’m a bit late responding to this but I’m slightly astounded by that sentence.

The hand that feeds you is covered in blood, you should be seen to be biting it, you should be chewing the fucker off up to the shoulder!!

Your fans are centre stage, they’re the ones that should be seen to be doing something, that’s the only protests that will have any sort of impact, not those from fans of other teams.

Did you apply the same not biting the hand that feeds mantra to Ashley?

Can you tell me how your sentence can be construed as anything other than: as long as they buy my team a bit of success on the field I should turn a blind eye to their atrocities and record on human rights?
I doubt the fans of many clubs would actively protest to remove an ownership that may give them some silverware for the first time in their lifetime.
What astounds me however , is the way they have welcomed their new ownership with open arms and tried to actually justify and defend the indefensible.
The Saudi’s chose well with those lot .

Looking increasingly likely they will appoint Unai Emery.

Although money is piling in for bouncy

He will want a fortune to move to the NE mind. He’s a decent manager, but they will be looking at 10m+ a season. Christ knows how much Villarreal will want as compo as well

Edit: 7/2 would also suggest there is still a lot of work to be done as well

Well I dont think money is an issue for them.

Yeah he's probably their preferred choice. Classic case of oooooh trophies..get him in

They are putting an awful lot of faith in these new owners and have been blinded by the constant citing of 300bn of assets. That is 300bn of assets tied up in other investments for which the NUFC investment represents a measly 0.1%. The minority owners are good business people but they are not football people, although Jamie Rueben has likely learned how not to run a football club at QPR. Then there is the Saudi culture of inability to delegate, the need for the person at the top to make the decision and the lack of empowerment in staff. Then there is the role of Frank McPartland who has some football experience with the largest being working with the kids at LFC and I did laugh at his Linkedin profile About section: "Experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. Skilled in Budgeting, Soccer, Microsoft Word, Coaching, and Football. Strong professional graduated from Netherley Comprehensive." Yes, in 2021 with all his so called experience he makes reference to Microsoft Word.

But yet, all the replies on the great old twitter are "Rome wasn't built in a day", "give them time", "it's a long term project".

I honestly believe AS sold them a dream - an undersold club for 300m, that with some investment could be sold for 10x.

It will be absolutely hilarious when the mags turn on Queen Mandy and the other owners.

The Microsoft word mention is absolute gerld!!!!
Beyond incredible 😅

Don't want to go round and round with you, but a good manager is plenty capable of getting this team to safety. Newcastle don't need a "survival expert" like Allardyce as they'd only need to replace him (and the players he'd bring in in the Jan window) at the end of the season anyway.

Managers like Favre, Fonseca, Emery, are plenty capable of getting this squad of players (plus the January transfers) to safety.
Are those the blokes holding barge poles?

That they wouldn't touch your murdering band of scruffs with?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees the latest to turn you down?? The list is very long but distinguished

i'm not sure why conte's agent wasnt on the phone to newcastle as he could probably double his wages.

Conte is touted as getting £14m at Spurs 🥵

....and 😄 .....another one out of the running.

"Aston Villa have made informal contact with former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca as they consider potential replacements for Dean Smith"
