about 8 of us looking to go away next summer, for a week of drinking and chilling out basically, but preferably somewhere with a bit life, a few nice bars and restaurants etc. Been looking at Malta and Greek Islands, as well as obvious places like Tenerife etc, but wondering if anyone has any recs ?

One tip wherever you choose look at the dates for where you fancy this year, it's a decent barometer for next years holiday. Never book early is my biggest tip.

Whatever you book when the reps collar you to sign up for all of their shit tell them to ‘fuck off’...... literally

They won’t bother you again and you’ll save £200 and do what you actually want on your holiday rather than have forced fun

In the all inclusives? If not and you want a resort with the aforementioned facilities why go all inclusive.

And as an aside, consider going self catering and putting the money you didn't spend on an all inclusive package into restaurants you fancy and drinks you want to drink. Just done that and saved about £750 (two people).

We'll probably be spending a lot of time in the hotel chilling out, drinking etc, but would also like to go out and have some options for bars, things to do, etc.

It would cost me loads more to go self catering than AI in the same resort. We tend to go out every night (sometimes eating out) whilst we are way when AI aswell.
