Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

Don't think any of our reserve options are up to it yet. Don't think any are even a rotation option if say mendy for example needs a rest or if we're chasing a game and need to mix it up a little. Mayenda or hemir may end up being decent, but currently look well off the standard for this level

I don't think four people would be considered numerous considering there are four other agencies with 3 players and the fact we've got 50+ contracted players on our books.

It's not but people keep mentioning it as if we're like Wolves and Jorge Mendes when there are only 3 players from that agency anyway.

Which in my opinion, could potentially then lead to an absolute panic buy. I dread to think how toxic the place would end up if we didn’t get a deal done.

All our eggs in one basket yet again. I get the feeling Speakman’s the type to spend a whole night out trying to chat up the lass who’s got a boyfriend.

They might save a bit by hanging on but it's false economy if we miss out on promotion by a couple of points because we didn't have a decent striker for the first 3 games.

Blows my mind they’ll spend money on shite like Hjelde but they’re penny pinching on a striker AGAIN.
 
It’s still scandalous that after so long to scour the entire footballing world for a striker we end up pinning all our hopes on a French second division journeyman.

The approach to spending money might well be pleasing the accountants but it’s killing any hope we’ve got of being competitive in this league.

Yet again there’s been any amount of players that have moved to championship clubs this window and others who could be signed with a modicum of investment.

But we seem to have all our eggs in one basket who appears in essence appears to be a French version of Chris Martin.

I’d have taken BTA for 2m, that’s about it of those who’ve moved so far.

Edit: Ugbo as well, didn’t see that had gone through.

Know a lad from down near Birmingham , amateur mma fighter and reckons Kemar Roofe is joining us on a Bosman . Sometimes trains at his gym apparently ? Thought he played up at Rangers
