I must admit, when I played football and there was a truely shite player in a decent position, or one of our better players in a shit position, the pass was going to the better player every time. I’m sure if we still had LND up front there would have been some forward passes.

There was forward passes.

Burstow was infuriatingly shit and either miscontrolled, didn't anticipate or was forced off the ball. Under both Mowbray and Beale there was attempts to play him in quickly and Beale even had us playing on the counter to suit his supposed pace

Rusyn wanted to play on the shoulder but wasn't quick enough or strong enough.

Hemir although starting earlier in the season was poor he managed to get chances in a few cameos and Mayenda played briefly and there was clear instructions to get the ball forward quickly, but he was just not up to it at the time lacking the composure to capitalise.

Naturally we then retract into giving the ball to the wide players who want it and are comfortable on it.

Too.many of our young forward players made poor decisions in the final third last season.

You just know that some nothing Championship club will come along and give Caen what they want...and it will be another player that we've missed out on because of f***ing about.

Na that’s bullshit the balls to them simply weren’t good enough or few and far between if they were gonna score 9 times out of ten they had to make something out of nothing for themselves which they couldn’t do with so many defenders around them the clear cut chances weee simply to few and far between everything Beale and Dodds did was possession based this bollocks of drawing the press on then beating it which we didn’t have the players at the back or the keeper good enough with his feet to do so I recon 90% of our possession was defenders why would you want that they are generally the worst players with the ball

We played most of the season with strikers sat on the bench under 3 different head coaches last season. As much as our tactics were negative, the main problem was there was nobody good or experinced enough to lead the line.

It would be quite funny if Plymouth Argyle sign him tomorrow, and the fee that we've been baulking over is revealed to be a mere £250k which Rooney didn't mind paying as it's less than he forks out annually to keep some old toothless old biddy from running to the papers and Coleen about his er, propensities. (POSSIBLY)

Can’t see it myself, himself and his agent have repeatedly said how he only wants to come here blah blah, which is daft of them really cos it potentially puts other clubs off.

He either comes here or rots in their reserves IMO. Just about us actually getting our fingers out of our arsed and giving them that extra few quid.
 
We could beat Cardiff 3-0 and sign him on the Monday and there'd still be people in this thread in a huff and deciding he's shite like just to have a winge.

If he’s our main target, which he evidently is and it isn’t silly money they are arguing over then they need to crack on and pay it. They’ve chased him all summer so presumably think he’s the answer to our problems?

If he’s not worth the extra money, in their opinion then we need to move onto someone else.
