You're also ignoring his previous 3 years there where he had them on the cusp of the playoffs with a non-existent budget and his best players constantly sold. If he can get us to the cusp of the championship playoffs in a few seasons, he's done very well.

End of the day, and championship manager in league one is a fairly good appointment - we're not exactly in a position to attract the best and brightest, are we?

Strangely, all I’ve heard from Norwich fans – and PNE fans on here – is the complete opposite. That Neil is very proactive, not afraid to mix it up if things aren’t working and has plans B though to K and beyond.

It’s almost, god forbid, that people are making s**t up to suit their narrative.

My take on it as I have a son in law who's a PNE fan.

He reckons he gets his teams set up at the back very well and is very attack minded. Reckons PNE had there best 3 seasons in 20 year under him. Cites lack of investment in the side the reason it stagnated.

Sounds promising but I'm on the fence. Seems a 'safe ' appointment by the board. Ibtredt from all over the world and he's the best we can come up with worry me

Make your mind up. Is it the fans fault, Speakmans fault or the owners fault ?
 
I'm quietly hopeful with this one.

So many dashed hopes/opportunities - still struggle to comprehend how O'Neill, Moyes, Coleman, Bruce etc etc turn to shite managers when they take our job.

We do need an experienced manager - Lge 1 is a tough/crap league to get out of --- just maybe he's the man.
