I don't think the sackings have any relevance. Not many managers out there who haven't gotten the bullet at some point.

Well ..apart from those still in their first role.

Again, just in a one because of Keane/how the club has handled this.

It's just so uninspiring, but what we had to do rather than going with someone unproven 😭

Preston and Norwich fans both have plenty of good things to say about him. I’ve barely seen anything overly negative.

Now compare that to when Johnson came here. Bristol City fans couldn’t stand him.

Neil wasn’t my first choice, but fuck me, you’d think we’d just gave Dodds a 6 year contract
Have read some of the comments made by fans of those clubs. On that basis he sounds like a potentially decent appointment. This club has my heart so it’s often hard to be pragmatic. We’re in the 3rd tier and outside the automatic promotion spots with a team completely bereft of confidence. The managers I would want ahead of him are unlikely to touch us with a barge pole. If he gets the nod, he’ll have my backing and I hope he does well for us.

The good old managerial merry-go-round.
Promoted to the PL, relegated, then sacked.
Didn't even make the Playoffs at Preston, sacked 16th in the league.
Helped his mate out at Crewe.
Seems like he's on an upward curve...
With all due respect i doubt that Keano would have took PNE to the play offs….they are just yoour typical mid table championship club a la Bristol City, Millwall, Blackburn etc
